Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hospitalized After Fall

Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has been hospitalized after falling in her Supreme Court office on Wednesday. The 85-year-old went home after the fall, but felt some discomfort so she headed to George Washington University Hospital on Thursday morning. There, she was diagnosed with three fractured ribs.

The Supreme Court released a statement explaining, "She went home, but after experiencing discomfort overnight, went to George Washington University Hospital early this morning. Tests showed that she fractured three ribs on her left side and she was admitted for observation and treatment."

The feeling of fractured ribs might be familiar to Ginsburg - in 2012, she fractured two ribs in a fall but didn't disclose the injury to the public until months later.

Ginsburg is the oldest member of the Supreme Court and is cancer survivor. She also had a stent placed in her heart in 2014.
