(Ellendale, DE) A Delaware fire department is working to make sure everyone in the community has a working smoke detector. The Ellendale Fire Company in Sussex County will begin checking in with residents on Friday and installing the alarms for anyone who needs them. They say the devices should be checked every month and replaced every ten years.
