(Wilmington, DE) -- U.S. Customs and Border Protection in Delaware is reporting the interception of a stolen SUV that was destined for West Africa. The CBP says the stolen Cadillac Escalade was seized late last month at the Port of Wilmington. It was one of a record 16 stolen vehicles seized by officers at the Port during the 2019 fiscal year, which ended on September 30th, according to a statement from the agency. The combined value of the stolen vehicles - 454-thousand dollars- -- is also a CBP Port record.
