The best day of the year is officially here: the NFL Draft. The draft this year will take place in one of the most historic NFL locations in history, Green Bay, Wisconsin. It’s the first NFL draft in Wisconsin in more than 85 years, since the 1940 draft was held on Dec. 9, 1939, at the Schroeder Hotel in Milwaukee. It was held on the night before the 1939 NFL Championship Game, which saw the Packers defeat the Giants 27-0.
This year could be one of the most unpredictable drafts yet, with many scouts and experts having different grades on many of the first-round and even day 2 prospects. Here we are, the day of the draft, and no trades have taken place for the first time in NFL history. Will that be the case tonight? I don’t think so. I think we could see a decent amount of movement in the first round and even early in the second, depending on how the board falls. Jacksonville, Denver, Houston, and Philadelphia and all rumored to be working on moving up.
Where will Shadeur Sanders land? Are the Jaguars seriously taking offense at 5? Will Cleveland trade down from the #2 pick and pass on Hunter or Carter? All of these questions and more will be answered shortly. Here is my final 2025 NFL mock draft with limited trades and the last Top 50 on the big board. Enjoy!
Pick 1: Tennessee Titans
Cam Ward- QB Miami (6’2- 219 lbs)
After watching more and more film on Cam Ward throughout the draft process, he has continued to grow on me. He has a rocket arm, can extend plays, and shows great instincts in the pocket. The ball flies off his arm, and he consistently shows he can fit the ball into tight windows. Ward does occasionally take risks down the field, and some of those throws can become turnovers in the NFL, but that is the nature of the business. Brian Callahan will get his selected QB now in Tennessee after giving a chance to the former regime's drafted Quarterback, Will Levis.
Pick 2: Cleveland Browns
Travis Hunter- CB/WR Colorado (6’0- 188 lbs)
Travis Hunter is the top prospect on my board, and I truly believe he can play two positions in the NFL. Hunter may be the most unique draft prospect we have ever seen. The #1 overall player in his high school class, Hunter has fantastic ball skills and can locate and make a play on the ball better than most players I have seen over the years. He has speed, great hands, and insane athleticism. He will have to prove that he can take and dish out hits on both sides of the ball/being able to deal with NFL physicality with his slim frame, but Travis Hunter is a one of one prospect and for me would be the choice without much discussion at #2. I view him as a WR first, but the playmaker could be just as good as a corner, and I hope the Browns will use him both ways.
Pick 3: New York Giants
Abdul Carter- Edge Penn State (6’3- 250 lbs)
No quarterback for the Giants here at #3. Rumors are that Brian Daboll is not in on Shadeur Sanders, and #3 could be too rich for Dart or Sanders here. Abdul Carter is #2 on my board, and both Hunter and Carter would be battling for the #1 pick in most years. Carter was a freshman All-American, First Team Big Ten, and this season a First Team All-American, showing his improvement every year at Penn State. Carter is quick, powerful, and elusive. He has a great initial burst and is always the first to make contact off the line of scrimmage. He showed toughness battling through injuries with the shoulder (and later revealing a fracture in his foot) for the Nittany Lions during the team's College Football Playoff run this season. A scout I talked to was worried about Carter getting worn down during the season against better, bigger offensive linemen due to his size, but I think Carter is in a league of his own in this year’s class.
Pick 4: New England Patriots
Will Campbell- OT LSU (6’6- 310 lbs)
There might not be a bigger need in the draft than offensive line for the New England Patriots. Campbell has been a hot topic in the last few weeks, with some loving the LSU left tackle and some others not sold on him. The arms measured shorter than expected during the process and even shorter than what we have seen for successful left tackles in the NFL. What is not for debate is his football IQ, leadership, and mentality. Campbell had good tape at LSU, and I firmly believe he can play tackle in the league, but others see him as a guard, and that would be a tough pick for that type of player at 4. For me, I would take Campbell with the idea of him playing left tackle and improving that offensive line that was the worst in the league last season.
Pick 5: Jacksonville Jaguars
Ashton Jeanty- RB Boise State (5’9- 211 lbs)
One thing that has been consistent throughout the draft process is the Jaguars taking Michigan Defensive Tackle Mason Graham in most mock drafts. That changed on Monday morning when reports started to circulate that Jacksonville’s new GM James Gladstone and new head coach Liam Coen want offense. The Jaguars had the 31st total defense in the league in 24-25, giving up 25.6 points per game, and finished last in the league in turnovers. Coen is charged with getting the most out of Lawrence, and it seems the pick will be Jeanty or McMillan from Arizona. The Jaguars dealt with injuries last year across the board, and running backs Ettienne Jr and Bigsby were on that list. Jeanty is a blue-chip prospect and a top 5 player in this draft. Even if it might not be what the Jags need the most, they believe with Jeanty that they can potentially be a top offense in the league. New reports indicate the Jaguars are trying to move up with Travis Hunter in mind…. Jags are the team to watch entering tonight.
Pick 6: Las Vegas Raiders
Armand Membou- OT Missouri (6’4- 332 lbs)
Similar to what we saw with Mason Graham and Jacksonville during the process all signs pointed to Las Vegas taking Jeanty tonight at #6. That seems to be no longer the case with the Raiders needing help in multiple spots, not just at the running back position. New minority owner Tom Brady is said to be heavily involved in this year’s process, and we know Quarterbacks love offensive linemen, and Membou could be the best fit here. Membou has skyrocketed boards after his unbelievable workout at the combine (4.91 40). Membou allowed only 5 sacks in 30 starts at right tackle and finished Second Team All-SEC. Kelvin Banks, the left tackle from Texas, could also be in the mix here.
Pick 7: New York Jets
Jalon Walker- Edge Georgia (6’1- 243 lbs)
This is one of the toughest choices to make in my draft day mock. Ty Warren has been the talk of the last few months, and he recently took a visit to Florham Park. The Jets passed on Bowers last year and could look to target one of this year’s top tight ends in Loveland or Warren, but new head coach Aaron Glenn might have other ideas. Coming from Detroit, Glenn is a hard-nosed former defensive coordinator, and now many around the league believe this pick could be on defense. Glenn should have authority here, and I believe Jalon Walker fits what he is looking for. Great character and is a versatile linebacker who can not only rush the passer but also play off the ball. He jumped out on tape this year at Georgia. Rumors also have Glenn and the Jets interested in Texas CB Jahdae Barron, a position Glenn played during his time in the NFL.
Pick 8: Carolina Panthers
Mason Graham- DT Michigan (6’4- 296 lbs)
In this scenario, the Panthers get a top 5 player on the board in Mason Graham. Graham was rated as the 2nd-best run stuffer in College Football and also finished with 3.5 sacks. He has a unique first-step quickness and is strong enough to deal with big offensive linemen. Lacks a little length, and you would like to see him get after the quarterback a little more, but #8 is too far for the best defensive tackle in this year's class unless Carolina moves back from this spot, which is possible.
Pick 9: New Orleans Saints
Mykel Williams- Edge Georgia (6’5- 260 lbs)
Reports out of New Orleans suggest the Saints will not take a quarterback here. Cam Jordan is entering his 15th season in the league, and the Saints could be looking for his replacement. Mykel Williams was #1 on many people’s boards entering this season and could learn from Jordan. Williams was a freshman All-American a few years ago and Second-Team All-SEC last season at Georgia. Similar frame and traits, and the Saints love the person.
Pick 10: Chicago Bears
Tyler Warren- TE Penn State (6’6- 256 lbs)
There has been a theme so far this year with new head coaches getting guys they want on that side of the ball, and it continues here with Tyler Warren from Penn State. Warren is a football player in the best sense. He finished with 104 receptions, over 1,200 yards, and 700 yards after the catch (3rd in FBS). Not to mention he is a huge factor in the run game.
Pick 11: San Franciso 49ers
Walter Nolan- DT Ole Miss (6’4- 296 lbs)
San Francisco could go several ways here, with needing help both on the offensive and defensive lines as well as in the secondary. Recent reports indicate that the 49ers aren't too worried about going offensive line early, and I believe they will attack the defensive interior here with Walter Nolan from Ole Miss. Nolan has been a hot name this week leading up to the draft, and I can see him coming off the board here to San Francisco.
Pick 12: Dallas Cowboys
Tetairoa McMillan- WR Arizona (6’4- 220 lbs)
The league and scouts are split on McMillan, the big X receiver from Arizona, with a huge catch radius. He can win 50/50 balls and has a smooth element to his game. I disagree with the comparisons to Mike Evans and Drake London, who I believe were a little more physical and better route runners than McMillan, but his production is not debatable. Some people have him inside their top 5, and others outside the top 50. Questions about his work ethic have been raised, but he would be a great fit alongside Ceedee Lamb, who desperately needs help on the outside in Dallas.
Pick 13: Miami Dolphins
Kelvin Banks Jr- OT Texas (6’5- 315 lbs)
If Banks is still available here for Miami at #13, he should be the pick for the Dolphins. Banks is arguably the best tackle in the class, and there’s a chance he goes to the Raiders, Jets, or even Saints. The tape is a little cleaner than Membou, and Banks has experience playing left tackle at Texas in the Big 12 and SEC. A three-year starter for the Longhorn,s Banks allowed only 3 sacks in 42 career starts.
Pick 14: Indianapolis Colts
Colston Loveland- TE Michigan (6’6- 248 lbs)
A no-brainer here at #14 if Loveland is somehow still available for the Colts. Another team that was linked to Bowers last year and wasn’t able to get him. Now they get a top 10 player on my board in Loveland, who was fantastic with JJ McCarthy during their championship run a few years ago. Still flashed last year in a much worse situation and possesses the rare size and speed combo along with great hands.
Pick 15: Atlanta Falcons
Mike Green- Edge Marshall (6’3- 251 lbs)
The Falcons have been searching for a pass rusher for years now. Last year, they took Penix Jr over Dallas Turner, Jared Verse, and Liatu Latu, which now, with Cousins' struggles, looks like the better move. They can get their pass rusher here in Mike Green, who led the FBS in sacks this past season at Marshall with 17. Many Falcons personnel were in attendance at Green’s Pro Day workout, and I think he's a great fit for the Falcons. There have been character concerns with Green in High School and during his time at Virginia, leading to his transfer to Marshall.
Pick 16: Arizona Cardinals
Jahdae Barron- CB Texas (5’11- 194 lbs)
Barron becomes the first true corner off the board in this mock. Barron ran a 4.39 40 at the combine and had 5 picks and 10 PBU’s last season as the Thorpe Award Winner. Jonathan Gannon is a former DB’s coach and he could be eyeing Barron here.
Pick 17: Cincinnati Bengals
Shemar Stewart- Edge Texas A&M (6’5- 267lbs)
Stewart is the most polarizing prospect in this class. At 6’5, 267 pounds, he ran a 4.59 40 at the combine, highlighting maybe the best workout of the year. The production just wasn’t there at Texas A&M, with Stewart only recording 4.5 total sacks in 3 seasons with the Aggies. A team would be betting on the traits, and Stewart may have the best traits in the draft.
Pick 18: Seattle Seahawks
Grey Zabel- OT North Dakota State (6’6- 312 lbs)
Zabel is one of my favorite players in this year's class, and it would not shock me if he went earlier than pick 18. Zabel can play anywhere on the offensive line and could have transferred schools last season. He stayed in Fargo and dominated all year long, then put it all on display at the Senior Bowl in Mobile.
Pick 19: Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Jihaad Campbell- LB Alabama (6’3- 235 lbs)
If it were not for the injury to Campbell this past season, he might be a top 10-15 pick. He has 4.52 speed and was the captain of the Alabama defense. A sideline-to-sideline linebacker who showed he can also rush the passer in limited opportunities last season. Lavonte David signed a 1 year deal with Tampa this offseason, and Campbell could be his successor in Todd Bowles’ defense.
Pick 20: Denver Broncos
Omarion Hampton- RB North Carolina (6’0- 221 lbs)
I have been a big fan of Hampton over the years, since seeing him on tape with Drake Maye at North Carolina. Hampton was great at UNC with Maye and even better statistically without him last season. Hampton has 4.46 speed and has accounted for over 1,500 yards and 15 Touchdowns in each of the last two seasons. It has been reported that Sean Payton and Denver has worked on trading up, but if they can’t would think about moving down as well. I think Hampton would be a perfect fit for Denver at 20.
Pick 21: Pittsburgh Steelers
Shadeur Sanders- QB Colorado (6’2- 212 lbs)
Throughout the season, I have been one who has had the gap closer from Ward to Sanders than others (and even Dart). Sanders was the best pocket passer in college football last season with a 74% completion percentage and 37 touchdowns, 2nd behind Ward. Sanders needs to improve with his pocket awareness and operate quicker than he did at Colorado, but I would love to see him in Pittsburgh. Mike Tomlin is a big fan, and even though this is the pick I feel the least confident about, Sanders is definitely in play here.
Pick 22: Los Angeles Chargers
Kenneth Grant- DT Michigan (6’4- 331 lbs)
Jim Harbaugh gets a familiar face here in Michigan, DT Kenneth Grant. Grant played for Harbaugh and Jesse Minter at Michigan, and he could provide immediate help in the run game, where he is at his best. Some untapped pass rusher potential in the middle of a defense as well.
Pick 23: Green Bay Packers
Matthew Golden- WR Texas (5’11- 191 lbs)
The Packers never go receiver in round 1, but Golden may be too good to pass up on at 23. Green Bay has been searching for its WR1 since the departure of DaVante Adams a few years back, and it shows on the field. Golden, with his 4.29 lightning speed, can open up the field for Jordan Love and the offense. Golden finished with 145 plus yards in two of the final 4 games for the Longhorns during their playoff run.
Pick 24: Minnesota Vikings trade to the Giants to select Dart
Jaxson Dart- QB Ole Miss (6’2- 223 lbs)
I have been a fan of Jaxson Dart before his meteoric rise in the last month or so. I have had him as a first-round pick throughout the process, and he heads to New York here after a trade with the Vikings. Dart threw for 4,279 yards, 29 TDs, and only 6 interceptions for Mississippi in the SEC this season. He is more mobile than you think and can extend plays and throw on the run. The Minnesota Vikings have only 4 picks in the draft, least among all teams, and could acquire some more capital here with a move back. If the Vikings stay put, I would anticipate Nick Emmanwori, the safety from South Carolina, or corners Will Johnson from Michigan or Maxwell Hairston from Kentucky.
Pick 25: Houston Texans
Tyler Booker- G Alabama (6’5- 321 lbs)
Houston has been actively trying to move up for an offensive lineman, but there is no guarantee that they can get that done. If they move up, they could be targeting Zabel or Banks if they slip in round 1. Booker got rave reviews in the interview process and teams love the person Booker is. Booker is an experienced guard with long arms and played in the SEC. He went 741 snaps without allowing a sack, and if Houston can’t move up and find Tunsel’s replacement, they could go Guard with Booker here. Texans could audible to Josh Simmons, Josh Conerly, or Donovan Jackson if Booker is gone.
Pick 26: Los Angeles Rams
Will Johnson- CB Michigan (6’2- 194 lbs)
This one would be surprising to me, but I have seen Johnson slip down some boards this week. The Rams have a need for a corner, probably above all else, but have been linked to offense as of late. Odds in Vegas have increased on a QB or RB today, but if Johnson is there, they can’t pass up on potentially the best corner in the class. Dealt with injuries this past season and still finished with nine career picks. Questions about his speed have been raised, and he missed workouts recently with a hamstring, but I am all in on Johnson here.
Pick 27: Baltimore Ravens
Malaki Starks- Safety Georgia (6’1- 197lbs)
Starks is my favorite safety in the class and can do it all. He entered the year as a potential top 15 pick, but the stats did not quite add up this season. Starks range and great versatility, combined with his ball skills, make him a great pick here for Baltimore and a steal in my opinion. Starks screams Baltimore Ravens.
Pick 28: Detroit Lions
Derrick Harmon- DT Oregon (6’5- 313 lbs)
Harmon transferred to Oregon after two seasons at Michigan State and led college football in pressures last season (35). Harmon has long arms and pro strength that Detroit could use in the middle of the Defensive Line. The Lions’ defense suffered without Hutchinson last year, and even with him, Harmon would be needed up front.
Pick 29: Washington Commanders
Donavan Ezeiruaku- Edge Boston College (6’3 248 lbs)
Ezeiruaku finished top in pressures (65) and second in sacks last season with 16.5 behind only Mike Green from Marshall (17). He is a smaller guy but has great length and powerful hands. Commanders lose Jonathan Allen in the offseason and need help on the defensive front, and Ezeiruaku could provide that.
Pick 30: Buffalo Bills
Maxwell Hairston- CB Kentucky (5’11- 183 lbs)
“Mad Max” falls to the cornerback-needy Bills here at pick 29. I have seen Hairston go much earlier and even later in some mocks this week. Hairston is the fastest corner in the class and is not only fast but quick. He ran a 4.28 40-yard dash and led the SEC in picks last season with 5, 2 returned for Touchdowns. Allowed only 3 touchdowns during his career as the primary defender in coverage.
Pick 31: Kansas City Chiefs
Josh Simmons- OT Ohio State (6’5- 317 lbs)
A dream scenario in my opinion, for the Chiefs here at 31, where they could end up getting potentially the best tackle in the class late. Simmons tore his patellar tendon against Oregon this year and would be a top 10 prospect had he stayed healthy and played up to his standard all year. He is the most polished tackle in the class and allowed 0 pressures, that's right 0, in 153 pass block attempts last season.
Pick 32: Philadelphia Eagles
James Pearce Jr- Edge Tennessee (6’5- 245 lbs)
Speaking with Martin Frank, who covers the Eagles nationally for USA Today, and others close to the team, it seems they will most likely not be staying put here at pick 32. Howie Roseman owns 20 draft picks in the next two seasons for the “Birds,” more picks than available spots on the roster. He could use that capital to move up tonight, the question just becomes, “For what?” The Eagles lost a lot on Defense in the offseason, including defensive backs Chauncy Gardner-Johnson, Isaiah Rodgers, Darius Slay, and interior playmakers in Milton Williams and Josh Sweat. If they somehow pick at 32, I can see James Pearce Jr from Tennessee being the guy if he is still there. Pearce Jr. ran a 4.47 40-yard dash at the combine and had 17 sacks over the last two seasons but some lapses on last year’s tape study has him falling in round 1.
