The leader of a Mexican motorcycle club drew condemnation from a community after he spray-painted the name of his group on a beloved UFO monument. Located in the city of Atlixco, the sizeable flying saucer was reportedly created out of a disused water tank in 2001 to commemorate a 1992 series of sightings that captivated the area. The target of vandals and other troublemakers over the years, the monument was recently refurbished by local officials and community members. Alas, the proverbial fresh coat of paint on the popular tourist attraction did not last very long due to a motorcycle club's misguided decision to leave its mark at the site.
